Halloween!

This week we are celebrating Halloween here at school. We celebrate in the English and Art classes in a variety of ways. The students of all ages have worked on Halloween art projects, from masks to spider webs to paper bag monsters to pumpkins spelling their names.

We also celebrated in English classes. In preschool we danced to a pumpkin song!

Then the younger students saw a Power Point by Sara about her childhood Halloween costumes, complete with photos of Sara celebrating Halloween as a child. The 5th graders did a Halloween Escape Room activity where they solved puzzles to win a prize.

The 4th graders made tasty Halloween snacks using candy and food to make spiders, creepy fingers, and witch's broomsticks.

And finally, the 6th graders dressed up in scary costumes and brought candy to all the younger students! They were careful not to scare the younger ones too much!
